I have a used set of Richmond 4.10 gears that I didn't get a chance to put in my Camaro before I got rid of it. They are in excellent condition. They are for a 2 series carrier.

Dang Ive been looking for a set of 4.10's but if those are for a 2 carrier then they wont work on the stock rear of my 01 bird. Im pretty sure its a 3 carrier.

Will they work on my car with it being a 2001 car. Wasnt sure if you meant "2 carier" or if it was a typo and u mean 3 carrier. Let me know man shipped to 25537. Im really interested.

They are for a 2 series carrier. Do you have a lsd or posi unit already? If you don't you probably want to swap in the gears and lsd or posi unit at the same time. In which case you could buy a 2 series carrier lsd or posi unit and these gears would work in your car.:)

Ok I cna do that, but will this fit in my stock rearend. I need to clerify that cuz Im not switching rearends or diffs. I have an 01 y87 equiped car. I now have a 3.73 gear. So I should have a 3 carrier.

They won't work in your car unless you change differentials.

why are they for 2 series? are they special mad for that? and where do you get a 2 series lsd from? also is it 80 dollars including shipping or is that extra

I was going to put them in my 95 Camaro and it only had a 2 series carrier. The shipping is included in the $80. I'd check ebay. They were out of a trans am. You might be able to get them to work in a 3 series carrier but I'm not sure.
