depends on what gears you have, a posi is meant for you to have better traction putting power to both the back wheels rather than just the one wheel peal, the posi differential i am selling is a 2 series carrier which means you eather have to have a 3.08 gear ratio or lower, here are the gear codes for our cars:

GU2=2.73- v8 only
GU4=3.08- open differential(means no lsd)
GU5=3.23
GU6=3.42
