the car starts and runs, it overheats overtime and after driving for a bit there is smoke coming from the engine bay (smells like oil)

If your looking for a quick sale Im in Orlando
        always buying cheap projects
I would say motor is toast with that miles and being overheated repeatedly

part it out and you might get quite a bit more, im doing a head gasket swap right now on my maro, its not too bad, the old log manifolds were the biggest pain for me and i only broke 1 bolt but i was able to twist it out with some visegrips cuz it was still sticking out, my moms friend is helping me and hes making me clean everything that has a gasket surface really good with a wire wheel on a drill, he also made me clean the pistons with that since theyre aluminum and the head and block surfaces where the gaskets were first with a gasket scraper and then with a little air grinder kinda like this

assebly should be a little easier and go pretty quick but the key is to make sure all of your surfaces are shiny clean so you dont have to replace another gasket for a long time
