Ok everyone I had to start a new thread because I couldn't change the title on the last one and I've come down a lot on the price of the car. I'll let the car go for 1000.00, but at that price I'd like to keep the headliner out of it because one of my other cars has a sagging headliner. The car has a rebuilt title, but it was only cosmetic front end damage (you can see in the pics that the passenger side headlight cover didnt even have to be repaired as it still has all the original rock chips lol) and was repaired properly and driven for over two years before the rod started knocking. I have decided I really dont want to spend the time to part it out, and I dont want a dissassembled car sitting by my house for several months. If I cant sell it for 1000.00 I'll just keep it until I can do something with it. I can take more pictures of anything specific if theres something you need to see, and you can even drive the car if you want to come by and look at it as it still does run. It's located in Odessa Tx. Everything on the car is in pretty good shape except for the rod knocking, it has 94,000 on it. It's the 3.8 with 4L60E, and the transmission works great. it seems that the cheapest option to get it going again would be to buy a complete engine from a salvage yard or ebay and just swap it out. I've priced engines for 500 to 900 dollars both at local salvage yards and on ebay.More pics here http://www.cardomain.com/ride/848245/6 .
