ive got a 3800 Series II from a 96 firebird sitting in my room. it turns out that im not going to need it after all seeing as how ive already fixed my problems. its just a long block. i would like to get 200 for it. but shoot me some offers and ill let you know.
im located in pekin, il. its just south of peoria. i am willing to drive up to 200 miles to drop it off. but you will need to pay for gas. im willing to meet someone somewhere and stuff like that. the motor was a running motor. i bought it from another member on here. i think it has just a little over 100,000miles on it. but im thinking about replacing all of the bearings. it has the oil pan, complete rotating assembly, heads, and ive even got the intakes.
for just the block and complete rotating assembly. im looking for 200. if you want the heads and intakes (angled) then i would be lookin for 250. i just sold the exhaust manifolds.
cuz im a car nerd and i live in my garage with my car and my motors that im currently building up! duh silly head. ive got a whole bunch of car stuff in my room. the gf unit doesnt enjoy it much but it makes me very happy.
hey, you sale that yet? im in fact quite interested, and wouldnt mind coming up that way. im like 3-4hours away, so if you have it let me know. ill get paid here soon, and im selling my truck so i'll have extra cash. wouldn't be bad to have a 2nd motor to build up while im driving my car. if you want, you can email me at toothpick_rz3@hotmail.com, probably the quikest way to get a hold of me online. anyways, let me know.
i picked the motor up from 96birdtoo. the reason he got rid of it was because he was dropping a 406 from one of his dragsters into the car. so he didnt need the little 3800 that was sitting inside of it. i thought that i was going to need a different motor cause the one i originally bought from UDLOSE had a spun bearing and we werent sure if it had damaged the block. turns out that it didnt so im getting rid of my second motor although it could come in handy. he said the motor was a running motor cause he drove it into the garage and then tore it apart. ive checked out the motor and its in pretty good shape. but like i said before, it is a running motor that just need put back together.
Loochy and Firechicken3800, if you two interested im willing to meet up somewhere or completely deliver.
this sale is: FIRST ONE TO SAY "i have the money! where can we meet?" will get this motor. just for the record.
sounds great. ill let you know if i get the money before anybody else. then we can talk about a time and where to meet. anyways, until further notice... good luck with the sale.
