  • FS: 1999 camaro v6 turbo

I think it's time to let go of my camaro. I'm getting really tired of it, and I want a new project. I can't afford to keep multiple cars hanging around either.

It has sooo many mods I couldn't list them all, but I'll list the bigger and more recent mods:

    ENGINE:
    1999 L36 block
    clevite 77 bearings
    L32 GTP rods
Diamond 9.5:1 forged pistons w/total seal rings
    Abbott turbo/blower cam
    Cometic MLS head gaskets
stock heads w/ comp 105 valve springs
    polished upper/lower intake manifold
    Remote supersize oil filter
Engine has about 6K miles on it.

    ENGINE MANAGEMENT:
    stock PCM tuned W/ HPtuners
    motron 65lb injectors
3" LT1 MAF sensor custom recalibrated by Profesional Mass air systems

    POWER ADDERS:
    custom built turbo kit
stainless forward swept log style turbo headers
    Tial 38mm wastegate
    ebay manual boost controller
precision turbocharger w/ less than 3000 miles. I just got it last summer.
    61mm compressor wheel/76trim 69AR exhaust housing/60trim
    turbo XS BOV
    saab intercooler
3" downpipe straight to an SLP loudmouth exhaust
    NOS wet nitrous kit
fogger injects directly infront of throttle blade

    TRANSMISSION/DRIVETRAIN:
action autoworks built T5 5speed. Handle up to 650ft-lbs
    B&M ripper shifter
SPEC stage 5 clutch, brand new
brand new OEM flywheel and slave cyl
    1piece steel driveshaft
Z28 zexel torsen diff with 3.23's
transmission has about 15K miles on it.

    SUSPENSION:
QA1 single adjustable shocks on all 4 corners
Front coilovers are ride height adjustable
Rear has 2" lowering springs, but I'll include stock rear springs
32mm 1LE swaybar upfront, 21mm 1LE swaybar in the rear
UMI rod end LCA's and PHR
17" Z06 rims up front with 275/40/17 firestone firehawk tires
18" Z06 rims out back with 295/35/18 firehawk tires
All suspension stuff has about 10K miles it.

    See for yourself....

    THE BAD STUFF:
the car currently doesn't have a clutch in it. I have a brand new SPEC stage 5 clutch that I will install prior to the sale. I'm also waiting on the new recalibrated MAF sensor to arrive so I can install it. I have an LM-1 wideband tool for the car, but I'm not sure if it works correctly or not.
It doesn't have air conditioning. I removed it for the turbo kit.
The body is in decent shape for an 8 year old car, but it isnt great. The front bumper cover has several dings and scratches. I've tried to fill them in with touch up paint, but the still show up close.
I painted the hood, roof and spoiler myself. The black paint on the hood scoop has many tiny chips in it. The roof and spoiler are in good shape though.
The driverside door has some cracks in the fiberglass on the trailing edge. I have a replacement door that I will include for free. I also have a stock rear spoiler I'll include for free.
The passenger side rear quarter panel has a dent behind the door. It is not really visible more than 6 feet away. I tried to pound it out, but I didn't do a great job.
The rear bumper sags about 1/4". I think all f-bods do though.
the odometer shows 95K miles right now.

    THE GOOD STUFF:
The car dyno'd 465rwhp and 510rwtq with an old T04 turbo and a 100shot of nitrous. It had a big exhaust leak at the time. With the new turbo and no more ex. leaks, I garauntee the car will make way more power.

The car has run a best time of 12.45 @ 121 mph at the 1/4 mile, with a miserable 2.1 60'. Again, that was with the old small T04 turbo. If someone could launch it correctly, it would probably run in the 11's.

It handles like it's on rails. That is part of the car I am gonna miss most. I wish I could keep the suspension and the wheels/tires, but the car can't really move without them.

I really hate to part with it, but I can't handle it anymore. I need a project that is simple and easy to work on. I also want to step up into V8 land. I'm asking $7,500 obo.

I don't have PM's, so just email me or post up here or something if you want it.

More than that. I stopped counting a while ago.

        I forgot to add earlier....
This is the highest trapping V6 fbod that I know of. No one else in our community can touch 121mph.
