  • Unfinished Powerdyne Kit

I might need to sell my unfinished powerdyne kit. It has a brand new never been used satin powerdyne BD11A head unit (the one that RK-Sprot uses in their kit), the bracket for the powerdyne, grooved 6psi pulley, the bracket for the tensioner pulley, pulleys to possibly use for the tensioner, ZZP valve cover breather, and some assorted hardware. The tensioner bracket still needs some work and the main bracket needs to have a weld run down it. I'll also include drawings of the brackets with the kit in case they need to be remade for some reason or another. I'm looking to get $1100 plus shipping for it. I'm pretty well done with modding the six now so I just don't have the drive to finish this anymore.

using the list from Graymans site this is what would be needed.

    All the Piping

Hardware for attaching brackets to block

    Spacers for said hardware

    New belt

FMU and all lines and check valve http://www.fullthrottlev6.com/forums...ad.php?t=28734 http://www.napaonline.com/MasterPage...One+Way+Vacuum

45* male/female 3/8" NPT fitting for oil pressure sender http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/w..._356143_356143

    3rd bracket http://home.comcast.net/~grayman99/T...ket-how-to.htm

Some of the extras I already mentioned are

    ZZP valve cover breather
    6lb grooved pulley
    autolight 103 spark plugs

you can check over the list here
    http://home.comcast.net/~grayman99/R...-partslist.htm

Also check his whole page before you install it if you buy it
    http://home.comcast.net/~grayman99/guide.htm

If there are any questions let me know and I'll try to answer them. This is a great deal if you are at least somewhat handy. I've done a good amount of the hard work required for this.

    PICS!

This shows everything that would come in the unfinished kit.

Close up of the pulleys and the tensioner bracket

This shows the bracket mounted to the blower. You can see at the bottom where the bracket would need to be welded. The scarring on the bottom right is from the sheet rubbing against some metal shavings while I was cutting it. The strength of the bracket is still perfect and the marks could be taken out with some polishing.

This shows the ZZP valve cover breather, the correct spark plugs, and the screwed up bracket. This bracket won't bolt up to the blower but can be used to check how things will bolt up to the block before you drill the holes in the good bracket.

The other side of the blower while still mounted to the bracket.

If you look at the slot in the tensioner bracket you can see that there is still some metal that will need to be ground down before it can be used but as you can also see I have already etched into the metal where it needs to be ground to. The squirrelly looking mark across the top of it is where the grinder slipped on me when I was rounding off one of the edges but structural integrity is still fine and with some work could probably be polished out.

BTW the image limit here is ridiculous can't you change it to 10 or something a bit more reasonable for the for sale and appearance sections at least?

        Re: Unfinished Powerdyne Kit

Is $1100 as low as your willing to go? my brother owes me some money about $500 and i could probobly come up with about $300 to $400 more.
Also if anybody else says they want it they can have first dibs, i am still trying to figure out how i would pay for it. I will get back to you.

          Re: Unfinished Powerdyne Kit

I've got over 1200 in it so I'm already selling at a loss. I can't really do any better. Besides the head unit alone is worth about as much as I'm selling everything for. Let me know if you figure out your finances. I'd be happy to help you find what is needed to finish the kit and give you any information you need to get it working.
