3800 engine with heads/cam/5spd - gauging interest

I am thinking about selling my whole complete 3800 series II with T-5 5spd. as I would like to drop an LT1 in.

The motor has port and polished heads with 105# springs and hardened pushrods that flow 2% better than Supersix heads. The cam is a GT2 and the upper intake plenum is ported. I have a tuned computer with it as well as RKsport headers. It has SLP Cold air intake. It has 24#/hour injectors.

I would like to sell the complete package but will part out if necessary. Im asking 1500 for the whole thing.

I am not 100% sure I will do this but I am leaning towards it. let me know who is interested!

If you do plan on parting, I'm interested in the springs, retainers, pushrods, cam, and possibly timing chain if it's in good condition.

I have never dynoed the engine but I ran a 14.22 in the quarter with it.

For the tranny alone I would sell for 500-750....It is in great shape.

The shortblock on the motor has 142k on it but I replaced the heads, timing chain, cam, injectors, wires, pcm and both intake manifolds about 15k miles ago.

I will keep you all posted as to what I plan on doing. Thanks for your interest.

It has around 20k on the new heads and cam and 140k on the shortblock

Its a 97

I do not have any pics as of yet but I will try and get some asap

Fury Charger, DOOO IT, Buy the LT-1. Haha, You might be my savior, Umm, Well i think my engine just blew up a few hours ago, not quite sure yet, but what year is that engine? I am just lookin for the engine, I already have Headers and have auto trans so not gonna mess with conversion. And not to mention you live like half the distance from me than my car broke down at. Had to get it towed home from Southfield. Im in Shelby Twp. Plz let me know if your gonna part it out, and how much the Engine and prolly tuned computer would cost..

how much do u think it would cost to ship it all to 92021 if do sell it. i have money in my bank if its not to much to ship

I think I may stick with the 3.8 but its not for certain, I think regardless I will be selling my GT2 Cam, I will keep posted, I will know by Monday or Tuesday
