oh and vanbibber, i would love to see you try and put me in my place. i ran an 11.7 at the texas motorplex on street tires, which isn't a great number but it's pretty damn good. this whole thing is over the ignorance of someone saying "lt1>ls1" and all im saying is that isn't at all accurate.

did i say me? no i didnt, so go find someone else to try to pick on, i couldnt care less if your car is faster than mine. i dont recall saying mine was fast anyways.

maybe its just lt1 owners have a bit more of a sense of humor than you ls1 guys, but you guys ALWAYS get bent out of shape at the very mention that there could possibly be ANY motor better than the ls1.

i have an extra sense of humor for sale if youre looking for one, low miles and regular maintenence with records. 50 bucks but for you ill go half off since youre in dire need of one.

i'm sorry i didn't really see the humor in his words. there are definitely better motors than the ls1.. but the lt1 is not one of them. and i have been beaten by lots of cars before so its not like i think mine is the **** or anything. an 11.7 is not a great time and won't hold up to any decent hot rod, but for someone with a much slower and undesirable car to be such a **** towards mine isn't right. so don't talk it up if you don't have anything to back it up. i really didnt want this to be some big issue and i do have a sense of humor but silverrs96 didnt say lt1>ls1 to be humerous so i was stating the obvious. thats all, im sorry for affending everyone.

haha notice how i didnt say 1 was faster than the other...ls1 drivers have a !**** mod i think....they have to make up for that with the "my car is faster" argument

its a stock short block, you can pick up everything for a stock motor for under 1k. he was talking about 2k for a stroker kit.
