2007 was a rough year I had dreams to complete this project, but more important factors have dictated otherwise. Money is tight so I have to part ways, cut my losses and survive. With that being said here is what I have for sale:

    1997 Grand Prix GTP
    White 2-door
    144xxx miles (I think)
5 spoke rims w/ michelin tires
Extra set of gold crosslace rims w/ tires

    Mods:
Custom Intake (will be redoing it),
    TOG Coated Headers
    Straight pipe
    Milzy Motorsports Custom Exhaust
    Walbro 255 fuel pump
    ZZP high flow fuel filter
    42.5# injectors
    Intense Modular Pulley System
    3.2” pulley
    Fuel Pump rewire
    Hi-speed fan switch
    Intense custom tune PCM
    ZZP In car control unit
    99+ coolant bottle
    Autolite 104 plugs
    New radiator (ditched the dexcool)
    New idler pulley
    Custom Valve cover breather

Body isn't in "bad" shape, but is rough. Passenger side has no trim, bumper and passenger fender need painted, could use a paint job. No major dents, but isn't a show car.

Car is "gutted" everything from the driver seats back is taken out although I have it all. The only parts that will be difficult to reinstall is the headliner.

Car is setup to be a race car, but can still be driven.

Lots of weight reduction, but nothing has been cut etc. Passenger door has no switch/power window parts installed.

    Issues:
Very Minor blown head gasket (exhaust side leak with no compression loss) -used cometic MLS gasket included
SLOW battery drain somewhere haven't bothered tracking it down (takes about 2-3 days to go dry)
    No Radio included
Fuel gauge does not work, but will include a good sending unit to correct this.

Overall the car with some minor work will be a great daily OR race car, I just don't have the resources at this time.

It currently CAN be driven and doesn't overheat just a small amount of smoke after warming up.

Can deliver within an hour or so of Chillicothe. Mods alone parting it out will fetch more than the asking price.

Looking for $1750 OBO Out of the car as it sits.

    Now for the BIG mods:

THR Big Valve Heads for the Grand Prix L67 w/ less than 5k on them painted yellow, but recently cleaned up.
    Revised Valves
    105# Comp Cam Springs
    Comp Cam steel retainers
    Comp Cam lifters
    Comp Cam Pushrods

The heads were done by a shop called THR in Minnesota and have been flow benched by the prior owner:

    Intake Exhaust
    67 54
    134 112
    185 154
    214 183
    231 196
    238 202
    241 206

Asking $1650 + Shipping OBO on the heads (assembled) including everything listed above

Thrasher Engineering Grand Prix Race Transmission with less than 2k on it:

The trans is a 4T6e that has been upgraded to a HD. It comes with 3.29 gears and Thrashers single chain, the CYA Limited Slip Diff, CYA 2200 Hi Stall torque Converter and the Stage 3 shift kit. I believe the transmission has every upgrade offered by thrasher. Converter needs a new bushing pressed in as the one on the converter is scored slightly.

Asking $2000+ Shipping OBO for the Trans

Gen V M90 Supercharger setup for the GTP:
    Low Mileage
Gen V M90 Setup (Complete minus bolts/gaskets [may have gaskets])
    ZZP Modular Pulley System
    2.6, 2.8, 3.0, 3.2, 3.4 Pulleys
    Gen V Lower Intake Manifold
04+ Alternator Bracke and Alternator (for clearance)
    95-99 N* Throttle body w/ Adapter Plate

$950+ shipping OBO for everything above

yea do you have the stroker kit? which kit is it? the low or high compression one? I want to get that come kit on my car. If it is the low comp. kit maybe Swan racing will let me trade it for the high comp. one. :)

            Re: 97 GTP/Ported Heads/Built Tranny/Gen V M90

I still have the stroker kit it is the low compression kit. It is isntalled and ready to go in a shortblock right now, but I'm holding onto it until I absolutely can't afford to keep it any more because we still have a plan for it ;)

Robert I sent some pics and to make it a perfect daily drive you would need:
Replace head gasket and other required gaskets when pulling the head.
Find the slow power drain and correct it.
Swap out the sending unit to make gas gauge work :D
*Install stereo if needed? I still have the speakers, but not head unit!

I can Jump the car and drive it all over the place right now, but if you're keeping it for a LONG time I'd do the things mentioned above.

There are some pics of the GTP, the parts are at my mechanics shop so I don't have pics of them right now.

I will be posting an update about the heads as well.

***THR heads are top notch, they work on the principal velocity is better than flow, they cross cut a few heads in half to get there design and see what they could do. I used there pocket ported heads (stock valve heads) and achieved 109 MPH traps on a rocker setup with 3.69 gears (netted me several 12 second runs), I also used there pocket ported heads on a S1X setup NON IC and achieved many 12 second runs including the time in my sig. If you have any questions about the heads and you can get the origonal owners name, you could call Travis at THR and he will more than likely remember the things he did, very competent shop and great guys (to give you a idea of what these people work with, they designed Mondello racing's big block heads).
