Time has come to sell my 1996 Firebird. It’s fully loaded including the Y87 performance package. It is a 3.8L/A4 car. Exterior is white with black stripes. Has T-Tops. Lots of newer parts, recent tune up. Great car.
It’s in pretty good condition just a few things that keep it from being perfect. Due to idiots in parking lots there are a couple blemishes on the exterior. There is a small dent below the gas cap and the nose has minor scuffs and spider webbing. Other than that the exterior is in excellent shape. The only other problem with the car is that the driver’s side window doesn’t work; it needs a new window motor (what F-body doesn’t?). I can provide a new window motor along with the sale if desired.
Now that the bad is out of the way lets focus on the good.
• Only 89k miles.
• Power windows/doors/mirrors/seat/keyless entry
• Y87 Package: Auburn LSD, 4 wheel disk brakes, Quick Ratio (14.4:1) steering, 3.42 Rear gears
• 245/50/16 Fuzion ZRi (50-60% tread left)
• The only mods done to the car are a Flowmaster muffler and a CAI
• Transmission rebuilt at 50k (p1870 code, had shift kit and corvette servo installed as well)
• Water pump/Thermostat replaced at 65k (fell victim to the brown sludge, entire system completely flushed, everything has been perfect since)
• Alternator and battery replaced around same time
• Last year it had a full tune up. All new fluids, plugs, wires, and belt. Probably a bit premature but I baby my cars
• Has Aftermarket Radio/CD player (pioneer), Aftermarket Sony speakers
• A/C blows ice cold
This car has been my daily driver for 4 years and has even seen a few road trips. I would take it anywhere anytime. Only reason I’m selling it is I just moved into the city and I want something different to beat around in (and for some extra cash for my third gen.)
