Just wanted to post up another thread showing what I have off the car, and ready to go. I also did it, so I could put up pics without clogging up my part-out thread.

Also, I'm not sure on what any of this stuff is really worth, so it is all best offer, and pick up is preferred on most of it.

3.8 motor from a 96 Camaro, 40,000 actual miles -- SOLD
Had minor tick when removed, 90% sure it's just a sticky lifter. Could try seafoam, or, better yet, just put new lifters in while the motor is out. Otherwise it always worked flawlessly, and was a pretty strong motor.
There is some orange spraypaint overspray on it, from my cousin painting something near it. Should come off with some paint stripper.

I'm in Central MN, Norwood Young America is the city, about 45 miles west of Minneapolis. I've been out that way once, but never actually went to the track..

Oh your closer to grove creek 1/8 mile track. you live by Litchfield? I want your motor but fuel cost would kill.

Yeah, I'm not too terribly far from Grove Creek, but I've actually never been there. Where are you from?

If you aren't terribly far away, I'd be willing to drive a little to meet, but not a huge amount. Send me a pm if you want :)

Also, does it have any slip or anything since the rebuild? My trans is slipping bad

I can, but you need to do all the work. In other words, you need to get a quote, figure out when and where I need to drop it off, etc. I hate shipping freight stuff, so thats the only way I'll do it, sorry.

Not at all, it's absolutely perfect, shifts very smooth, no noises or anything. :tup:

Still have that transmisson for sale? did that come out of a 96? let me know thanks.
