GM PERFORMANCE PARTS LS6 Cylinder heads are a true performance bolt-on. If you have a 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L or 6.0L Gen III V8 engine and want to improve the power output, bolt on a set of these GM Performance Parts LS6 Cylinder Heads. These heads have the production 65cc chambers giving a 10.5:1 compression ratio. They have most hollow stem stainless steel valves, Cr-Si ovate wire valve springs and other production components but are missing a few valve springs and valves which are cheap. These heads support 500+ horsepower. I have seen these heads listed all over the the web. They vary in price greatly from 600.00 a piece to 1200.00 a piece. These babies came off a 2003 corvette z06 that was hit in the rear end totalling the vehicle. this vehicle had around 30k on the clock and the engine is fine. If you have an ls1 powered camaro z28 or SS, firebird trans am or even another corvette these will be great bolt ons for your car. let me know if you're interested. I know this is the v6 site, but many of you probably also have an ls1...

many of us do not have an ls1, there is a reason most people have a v6 and that is because they could not afford a v8. lol

And how much are you asking? My Uncle's been looking for some LS6 parts for his '02 SS; I'll talk to him and see what he says.

Can you show some pics of the casting numbers for people who are interested and I sold a set of LS6 heads complete for 800.00.. Its not that cheap for valvesprings, retainers, and valves. It looks like you are missing 6 valves and from advance auto that would come out to be 80.00. you are also missing 8 valve springs and 8 retainers that would come out to be 156.00 for the 6 retainers and 114.00 for the valve springs.. All this is through Advance auto parts. Thats not including valve seats and locks.. I dont know if you would need them or not..

heres a pic of the numbers...its really hard to see I couldn't get a great picture with my camera... but here we go.

the numbers read as follows... : 9911418721529855

and on the opposite end of each head reads this: 9114s1742856

someone must have a use for these!!! come on now folks! I'd even consider some sort of trade.
