hey man congrads on getting married. My lady wants to get married too and we're about to have a lil one. The funny thing is though she had tha nerve to tell me I had to sell my 94' V6 Camaro... I did her just like this :slap: lol but yeah man if you're gonna get married and everything you need somthing that is YOURS you know kinda like somthin that reminds you of the good ole days. Not saying that days with your wife aren't going to be good. You're a good man to be selling such a beautiful car and I know what you mean about money man but seriously all I ask is that you really really take some time and thought into this before you say you wanna sell your car

ok Had a bit of time to fix some stuff today...
The shifter used to bounce around a bid under heavy acceleration. I replaced the trans mount with an polly unit. Oddly enough it helped the 3rd gear issue allot. Guess the shifter was rubbing on something under torque.
Also I got around to looking into the power antenna issue... turns out it was just a bad fuse so now that is in good working order.
Lastly my friend at school is bringing me in an o2 sensor Thursday left over from one of his old projects. I’m prolly just going to pony up the $$ to get another front one so those should be fixed at time of sale.

Its kinda a long story, but I think Ill be good man. Thanks for looking out though.
Yeah the long story is this
every since I was 16 I have always had a firebird or camaro, that where I learned what I know about any thing automotive

I actually met her just after I blew up the engine in my first bird. She thought it was cute that Id whimper when ever I saw one on the road.
a couple of years down the road I landed my first good job and bought a knock out 98 ls1 m6 blue green chameleon hard top formula

she was pissed that I didn’t buy an engagement ring, but then she slowly fell in love with the car.
till it was thrashed in a highway accident (buddy was driving me home, I was very very drunk!)

I picked up a little subaru and drove the rat piss out of it. I modified it every way under the sun to get it tolerable... It was never the same, it was never my firebird, and again I was catching funny glances each time I passed a bird, and I would whimper, and the girl friend would hear me.

So I found a 99 v6 blue green chameleon bird and bought it last January. I then started looking for an ls1 donor car and found this bird and decided cool winter bird summer bird.

Now after thinking it over I decided, I don’t need projects and I don’t need toys. I just need to finally grow up get my crap together and get on with my life. I think Ill be good selling this bird because its not my old ls1 bird, I haven’t had it long enough to be attached to it, and Im giving this one up, and not getting it taken from me. Oh all that and I know if I keep it im going to end up rebuilding the engine with some 6.0l heads, a turbo system and a mosure 9” rear end… and lets face it, that doesn’t happen on a family budget any time soon!

As far as the girl goes. she actually started yelling at me the other day when she saw I was answering emails about the car... she doesn’t want me to sell it... go figure

Good luck with the sell, if you were closer I'd throw a for sale sign up on my V6 and move some funds around. I dig that shade of green.

ill cut you a deal to cover the cost of a airline ticket
serriously though, the last ower said he took trips to flordia every year, and this car still feels rock soild. I have no doubt it would make the trip just fine. As far as gas goes, your on your own there! LOl
we got an avrage of 400 miles per tank with two bad O2 sensors, so you should be getting better than that.

I dont make these things easy do I? :stp:

yep, I still miss that car, and my friend still feels super guilty because of it. I still stand by my statement that
#1 if we would have rememberd to turn traction controle off, the car would still be around.
                  and
#2 it would have been 10 times worse had I been driving... I wouldnt have been able to handel the situation any better than he had, and I would still be working on paying off a DUI to this day!!

New O2 sensors are in and the thing feels like a whole new car! The butt dyno tells me that the hp went from Awesome to 'hold on to them tig ol bittys!!'
If this car doesn’t sell in the next few weeks I’m going to have it dynoed again just to see how much of a difference it made.
