  • 1997 Turbo V6 Camaro

It's come time to sell my pride and joy. I really really hate to see it go, but I'm at the time in my life where I need to move on from working on cars all the time, and spending money on modifications, and start worrying about finishing school and finding a job and getting engaged sometime in the near future. This car has seen a million man hours in blood, sweat, and tears to get it to the point that it is today. As far as a list of mods, I don't know where to start.. but here it is:

    ENGINE:
    3.8L Series II V6
    X-P Hot Cam (212/224 .325/.335 116)
    Comp Cam 105# Springs/Retainers/Pushrods
Taylor Spiro-Pro 8mm Spark Plug Wires
    NGK-TR6 Plugs gapped at .035
Tuned using HP Tuners and PLX Wideband

    TURBO SETUP:
    Turbonetics T-70 Ceramic BB Turbo .68 A/R
    43mm Turbonetics Racegate
    HKS SSQV Blow Off Valve
    Forward Headers and FMIC
    Turbonetics Manual Boost Controller
ZZP Valve Cover Breather (PCV plugged)
    Autometer Sport Comp Boost Gauge

    SUSPENSION:
BG Goodrich G-Force Sport 275/40/17 Tires
    Bilstein Heavey Duty Shocks
Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs (1.4" drop)
32mm front & 19mm rear GM Sway Bars
    Lakewood Rear Lower Control Arms
    UMI Weld-in LCA Relocation Brackets
    Edelbrock Non-Adjustable Torque Arm
    Double Adjustable Panhard Bar

    FUEL SYSTEM:

    Walbro 255 lph Fuel Pump
    65lb Motoron Injectors

    EXHAUST:
3" Mandrel Bent Custom Exhaust by RJ's Custom Piping
    Borla Pro XS Muffler
    QTP Electric Cutout
    Stainless steel Z28 style tips

    DRIVETRAIN/TRANSMISSION:

    4L60E Automatic
    Precision Shift 3500 Stall Converter
    1LE Aluminum Driveshaft
    TransGo Shift Kit
    Corvette Servo
    B&M Tranny Cooler
    Gears : 3.42s with LSD

    EXTERIOR APPEARANCE:
    Color: Medium Quasar Blue Metallic
    98+ Front End Conversion
    25% Window Tint
    Z06 Chrome Rims 17x9.5"
    Polished Aluminum Billet Grill
    Clear corners and side markers
    "CAMARO" fill-ins on back panel

The car will come with everything listed above including the HP Tuners software and the license for this car. The car has not been to the track and not been to the dyno. So I dunno what it runs or how much power it makes. Right now the boost controller is set to about 8 PSI, and the car runs nice and strong, but is maxing the MAF at high rpms. It is a quick car and I really hate to get rid of it, but I am closing a deal on a 99 audi a4 quattro next week. I will be out of town Aug.2-10, so if you wanted to come check out the car, we will have to work around that. I leave for school on the 16th, so I don't have much time to sell the car, but I am not in a rush! $7,500.

Easily 300. Mine put down almost 300 to the wheels with about the same size turbo and almost the same amount of boost on a rich tune and bad valve float.

EDIT You should be well over 300 with that cam too, Dave.
