Hey guys, I bought a monthly subscription to carfax, but I only used it to look at a few cars. If anybody wants a Carfax Vehicle history report, you can send $10 and your VIN# to my email address via Paypal. I can email you the report.

Thanks for the unnecessary comment mestupryan, I guess you bought your car brand new. Any way I wish someone offered me a carfax for $10, the price I paid for it was ridiculous. And that's not illegal, have you ever heard of sub-leasing an apartment?? Wow... Don't ruin the thread for people who legitimately want to find out about their cars.

carfax has done it in the past and will do it to you when you start doing this. Your account will get closed once carfax gets wind of this

that hes posting on an online message board to do carfaxes for people. We had a guy on our local forum do about 5 of them for free and somehow carfax saw it and shut down his account.

Yeah, Im pretty sure a one time carfax costs that... So I suggest you stop thinking you can make money on this.

We are a site for car enthusiasts to come together and have a good time... not to make money off of each other. If you bought a carfax because you wanted it, offer the service to other people, seeing as you already have it!

And, yes, carfax WILL shut down your account. They have been monitoring car sites for this. If they see someone post a VIN asking for a carfax report, they will monitor the reports being ran to look for that VIN. When they find it, they will close that account!
