Yes it is used and I cut the tips of for cheaper shipping. If i had to throw out an estimate, I'd say it has 20,000 miles on it at the MAX. Looks like less though. I can take pics for you if you want them. It's not rusted or anything.
Hey, just so you know, he's selling series 2 4.10''s. These are the really "thick" gears that are designed for the series 2 carriers (open and torsen diffys that came with 3.08 or lower gears from the factory). I noticed your sig says you have a y87 package, which heans your car has a factory series 3 torsen with 3.42's on it. I don't think they would work on your application. I could be mistaken though.
That's correct. I specified in my origional post that they are for a 2 series carrier. and btw, y87 doesn't necessarily mean it's got a posi in it. This is how you can tell what series carrier you have:
GU4 - 3.08 Gear ratio
GU5 - 3.23 Gear Ratio
GU6 - 3.42 Gear Ratio
G80 - Limited Slip

not to sound like a ****.. but y-87 DOES MEAN you get posi... thats what the Y-87 package consists of.
95-98 you got the auburn
99-02 you got the zexel-torsen
you got 14.4-1 steering
235/60R16 tires
4 wheel disk on 95-97
and dual exhaust
3.42 with auto
3.23 with manual..
thats the Y-87 package.
