PRICE IS 7500 FIRM
I bought this car in summer and I wanted to swap in my engine and transmission that I had, to have a nice track car with the cage already done and the street with the ttops off. After having the car for a couple months, I have barely had enough time to work on the car. I am graduating in December and my last semester is kicking my *** with exams, projects, and the countless weekly papers while maxing out my class load. Finding the time to work on the car is impossible and costly.
Since I don’t have a garage, I have been storing and working on the car in a storage space…which has been adding up to quite a pretty penny for hardly working on getting the car to run.
This is a black 1998 Trans Am Ws6 with 69k on the body and 79k on the engine. It does not have the factory Ws6 hood but it does have the US Exotics Superhawk hood. The exterior is in good shape, especially for a black car. The bottom of the front bumper cover has a tear by the fog light and there isn’t any front bumper support. This originally was a T56 car but the previous owner put in a TH400 so everything should be a direct swap if you would like to go that route (using an M6 wiring). It still has the 6 speed pedals installed but Ill include the automatic pedals.
The engine still has the factory internals, cam included, and the front cover has never been opened up. Before I put the engine in, I had the heads off to be ported but due to the amount of queue time, they wouldn’t be done until December. Rather than waiting or buying vendor heads, I bought new GM head gaskets and head bolts and put the stock heads back on. The transmission was rebuilt as a level 2 4L60E with 9k miles. At the same time of the rebuild, a Yank 3000 with a 3.0 STR was installed. With just an intake lid, stall, high flow cats, and catback on a 2.73 geared car, this engine put down 320 rwhp. If you want the dyno sheet, I can include that.
The suspension is basically brand new. The person I bought the car from bought new BMR parts in black hammertone to replace the BMR red, so a lot of parts installed have 0 miles on them. The suspension consists of…
BMR Black Hammertone tubular K member, BMR upper and lower A arms, BMR adjustable street torque arm, BMR panhard bar, BMR lower rear control arms, BMR red boxed 2 point welded SFC, front hollow Strano 32mm sway bar, rear Suspension Techniques 25mm solid sway bar, Qa1 10 ways all around with coilovers in the front, Powerslot rotors, and line lock.
The rear is a Moser 12 bolt with 33 spline axles with longer wheel studs, C clip eliminators,4.10 gears, Eaton posi with Moser aluminum bearing cap support style cover.
This car has an 8 point roll cage with a driver’s side swing out and the main hoop cross bar moved back for taller drivers, RJS seatbelts, Racetronix 255 pump in tank, and Racetronix fuel pump hot wire kit.
The car will need to be towed, Ill ship it but at your expense and you find a shipper.
