Cause if its 2.5" inlet it wont work on the 3.8L Y pipe, maybe the 3.4... not sure... unless you just wantedto expand the inlet

Any respectable exhaust shop would be able to make a reducer and make it work.
The stock exhaust piping for the 3.8 is 2.25" so it's not like your creating a bottle neck.
You will only create a bottle neck if you use the 2.5" cat with exhaust piping bigger than 2.5"

I had the carsound (#94009, 3" in/out) converter on my '96 3.8l with a 3" cat-back, and it fit and ran great! No codes either. It was a 'dern-good converter for the money ;)

How long is it, like end to end, may be an odd question, but I need somthing smaller than stock so I can tuck it up a little bit. Stupid pacesetter y-pipe.
