Up for sale is my 1997 Camaro. It's a dark green v6, 5 speed with 105,704 miles. I was planning on keeping it until a lady decided to come into my lane on the way to the airport.
I've taken great care of this car. Oil was changed every 2,000 miles. At 100,000, I changed the differential fluid and replaced the gasket, replaced the drive belt and tensioner arm and flushed the radiator fluid. I also took the throttle body off and cleaned it out completely. The oil was last changed at 104,000 miles. On the highway, the car will definitely get you 28+ mpg. While she is a v6 and not the quickest, she still has some pep and is a great daily driver. The car was originally a coupe, but I added T-Tops. I will be including the old roof (if you don't want it, I can throw it out) and the old headliner. When the lady hit me, she knocked part of my headliner down. It was just glued up there, so it should be an easy fix. I had planned on just converting the old headliner into a T-Top one, so you could do that as well. The car also has a Flowmaster cat-back system and K&N filter.
The engine/transmission are in great condition. Obviously I can't guarantee anything, but I really took care of the car and you'll see when you check it out.
The interior is in decent condition. I upgraded the stock head-unit to one that plays mp3s/cds. I also upgraded the rear speakers, but they'll need to be re-mounted. I have a tiny computer in the car that holds mp3's and it has its own head unit as well. It has a small crack in the case, but a little glue should fix it no problem. Once cleaned, the interior will be in great condition. Like I said, the car's been maintained. It has all the 30th anniversary stitching that you would expect from a 97.
Now onto the bad stuff. The body panels will need to be fixed. As you'll see in the photos, the passenger side is beat up. My guess is that you'll need a new passenger door, hood and front bumper. The rear passenger side quarter panel is bent, but it can be fixed. The front passenger side quarter panel seems ok. The rear bumper is sagging a little bit, but I'm guessing that it just needs to be adjusted. The rest of the body is fine. The hit was on the passenger side only. The car slid for a while, but it ended up going up a hill and stopping. I drove her home with no problems.
She is on a donut right now because when I slid, it tore the rear drivers side tire. I will be including that tire obviously. It, and the 3 on the car, are on the Camaro "Salad Shooter" rims. I will also be including the standard 97 5-spoke rims+tires.
Here are some pictures I took just a few minutes ago.

She's sitting under a cover now. The miles will be +1 or 2 when you come. I've been taking her around the block once a week to keep things fresh in there.
I'm not trying to con anyone, so I'll answer any questions you have to the best of my ability. You're welcome to come look and take for a small test drive (bring proof of insurance and drivers license).
I'm willing to entertain any offers. My guess is that it's going to take $2,000 to completely fix. It's probably less considering most of the parts can be had from a junkyard for much cheaper, but I always like to estimate high for car mods. I would love to restore her, but I know I won't have time for a while and I could use the driveway spot (my girlfriend is angry that she has to park behind it).
I'm located in Benbrook, Tx. You can reach me via this thread or a pm on the forums.
Thank you for your time.
