i dont know to instal it cuse i never had the chance to but i hired Right away you'll notice faster and firmer 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. This servo will give your transmission 50% more apply pressure, just what you need to keep from burning your transmission up under heavy load situations. This servo is easy to install and can be done with the tranny hope this helps

Just an FYI. I blew my trans up and had them switch over to vette servo and bands on the repair. The upshifts are noticebaly quicker. The biggest advantage to me is the downshifts. In the auto if you your cruising and want to accelerate hard the trans will naturally drop down a gear and then go. With the vette servo in it doesn't require nearly as much throttle input to make the downshift occur which means your getting a faster response and noticeable pick up in all gears. When I say noticeable I mean if you drive the car everyday you will notice these improvements. When I got the car back the guy at the trans shop handed me the keys and said there's a 12 month unlimited mile warranty have fun. I left his shop sideways :-)
