I bought this Camaro about 3 years ago for $1,400. I was told it needed a carb but I messed with it and found out that the timing was off 180 degrees. I drove it for about two months and the t-5 5 speed trans took a sh*t. It is a 1986 Camaro Z-28 5 speed with 350. Its not the stock engine and I dont know what it cameo out of. I was told it had 200 miles on it when I bought it but no way of being sure.
The car Runs and was legally on the street until the trans went. I dont think it was originally a 5 speed car but would have to check the vin. The interior was nice but its been sitting for the past few. I used to paint heavy equipment so it has primer over spray all over it.
It needs a rear coil spring and transmission. The t5 was stolen after it was pulled. The rear either needs to be replaced or rebuilt. I recently purchased a Richmond rearend rebuild kit. but decided to sell. I have a few to many cars and parts laying around. The body is not perfect as you can see in the pics.
I would like to sell the car as is for $800 or what ever you will pay me for it. If it doesnt sell within 2 weeks I will start taking it apart. Let me know what you need.
