decided its time. needs some work but if you know what youre doing you can get it done pretty cheap. i dont have the time, space or money to work on it anymore so it has to go. hopefully to someone who can take care of it like it should be.
95 A4, 74,700 miles red on red hard top
the good:
body is nice, paint is in very good shape for the most part, a few rock chips on the hood, but not very noticable, both doors have touchup paint on them on the very edges where the door meets the rear quarter panel. no idea what happened, it was like that when i bought it 4 years ago. wheels are in great shape, no curb rash. interior id say is 8.5 out of 10. passenger side has a small tear in it (no clue how it got there, i noticed it a while back ) driver side has the usual fbody wear spot on the side bolster.
car is mostly stock. has a K&N FIPK and the exhaust is stock dumped at the rear end. (still have the stocker muffler though, ill also throw in a slp loudmouth exhaust i never got around to putting on and a magnaflow highflow cat all 3inch)
the bad:
-rear main leaks, needs replaced soon
-passenger side foglight out, easy fix i just never got around to it.
-something under the car is loose, i think its the trans mount but im not completely sure.
-heat and ac dont work. ac just needs recharged, and i think the heat problem is just the heater core needing flushed
-driverside window... either needs a new regulator or new clips, it needs help getting up straight
-some sort of tick from the motor. im not sure what this is from but i can find out what it is. it might just be from the cold weather we've had lately.
-could use new front brakes in the next few months, they still work well though
-driveshaft u-joints, another easy fix i never got around to, or you could just swap a ls1 driveshaft in
items ive replaced over the last 3 years are:
lifters
pushrods
fuel pump
fuel filter
fuel lines
rear brakes (less than 6 months old)
opti spark
coil
water pump
driver side window motor
thermostat
plugs (3 years ago, probably due for a change)
wires
really hate to see it go, but i have a baby on the way and me and the wife need a car thats more economical right now. i love the car to death but right now i cant afford to spend the money to fix it. even at 14 years old it still turns heads and ive gotten ALOT of compliments on it over the years. when its running good it runs VERY strong and gets pretty good gas mileage for a v8. i had big plans for it but responsibility comes before hobby.
looking to get 3500ish for it.
