  • 1999 Y87 Camaro F/S

Well its time to part with my beloved Camaro, I joined the USMC and it will not be practical to keep the Camaro and my truck.

The car is a 1999 Camaro Y87 Pewter Metallic w/ T-tops (no leaks). Bought the car in February of 2005 with 115k on the clock. It is currently at 205k

    The Good:
BRAND NEW 3.73 Gears w/ less then 1000 miles on them, all bearings replaced when installed.

HP Tuners used to calibrate speedometer and remove speed limiter

Eibach pro kit 1.4" drop spings

Pro 5.0 short shifter w/ ws6store short stick and Hurst T-Handle

    Berger Panel w/ Stainless insterts

    Shorty Antenna

15% Tint on windows, hatch, and sunstrip on winshield

Flowmaster muffler w/ dual 2.5 inch tips (shaped like factory Y87 tips)

K&N Filter and free air mod

    MSD Coil Packs

Aluminum 1 piece driveshaft out of WS6 T/A

Clutch and brakes replaced less than 20k miles ago

    New water pump

    Replaced upper intake gasket

Factory 5 spoke wheels with basically new Kuhmo Ecsta tires (less than 1k miles on them)

Black housing projector headlights w/ matching corner lamps

    Converted to LT1 Style taillights

Replaced gauge lights with superbrightled wled-5 bulbs (blue)
    The Bad:
Motor is ticking at around 2k and loses oil pressure when warms to operating temp.

Front bumper cover needs painted, paint chipping from grille area due to contact w/ a raccoon.

Small hole worn in driver side carpet under gas pedal (no floormats came with the car)

I really do not want to see this car go, the motor just recently took to ticking. losing oil psi and I really would prefer to take the time and fix it but due to leaving May 18th for Recruit Training, sadly I just don't have the time. This car has been a great car, gets around 22-24 mpg in town and 30-31 mpg highway. The transmission shifts great, it rides smooth, no leaks, no tears in the seats. A/C and heat both work great. Will return sound system back to stock unless buyer wants to pay for mine (Infinity Kappa Series speakers in 4 corners sony am/fm/cd/mp3/atrac3 headunit and rockford P3 12" sub with custom ported box tuned to 32hz). Thats all I can think of for now. Like I said I love the car but I dont have the time or real need for it anymore

Asking $2800 obo PM me with any questions
