sub is 1500 watts, 750rms but they have been known to handle alot more then that. Its a dual voice coil, 250oz magnet. Titanium cone etc....its the W7's competition. Box was built by precision mobil audio with exact specs from eclipse over the phone.
250 for box/sub. Its a steal. Sub retails for 600 and the box was another 300.
amp is a 2 channel, kenwood fan cooled. Works awesome. Bridgeable. Great condition. $100

Custom boxes, made for a particular sub to get the sound you want will cost some money since they have to calculate the dimissions / air space and port size to get whatever HZ levels you want from the sub. I worked at a car stereo place for about a year almost 15 years ago and even back then just for a simple box was $200-$250. So $300 for a custom box is really a good deal. When you get into custom fiberglassing and painting thats where boxes costs upwords to a $1000. You can buy premade boxes that are fine if you have a open space say in a SUV, Van or going in a trunk but when it has to be made to fit a certain space it costs money, like the Subthump 10" stealth boxes, I paid $120 shipped for mine, just for a 10" that fits in a certain spot and only certain 10" speakers will work with it ,as they give a list of which ones. Sorry KidCamaro98 for replying on your thread , I thought I would respond to this and explain alittle bit about custom boxes for a certain sub.
08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
96' Camaro M5 to A4 conversion, alot of mods . GT35R Turbo full suspension. Built engine
this is what it looked like when I had it done....
it was a complete box for a F-body wheel well, But I took it apart so the box can go into any other car because I have this forsale locally for anything and on other car sites that arent F-bodys...
anything else you want to disagree with???

Good thing it is mounted like it is being 50LBS, I had trouble with my 32LB Alpine Type X pulling it back out of my stealth box, I don't think I could of done 50 LBs, and thats only a 10" I coudn't even imagine a 15" one if they make one= 150LBS. LOL engine cherry picker to install one.

How difficult would it be to remodify that box to fit in a 4th gen again?
easy as cake. The box fits perfect into the back hatch, you will just hafto make the tops covers to fill in the rest of the hatch well. All it was, was think wood and then carpeted over the top.
