  • 1997 Firebird (Needs Motor)

Was going to fix my Firebird with a slightly used l26 motor from a grand prix but came across a car I would much rather have. I need this car off my front lawn because I can't have three cars here. I know you guys know how easy a swap can be and you will have a nice brand new car, even better than stock if you use the l26.

I have some other parts for sale (sorry for so many threads. kinda trying to keep them by group) that you could use on this car (headers, cam, stock upper motor components). It has an automatic with 145k miles on it. Ran perfectly fine when it was running.

I'm starting it off at $1000. I would also like this gone before Friday if at all possible. But if you can get it the week after I may be willing to hold it, but I can't have you back out of the sale once you say you will take it.

The original block is still in it but has a slight warp, a machine shop could fix it but i think it would be better to just get a motor with low miles instead.

I'm not going to list everything about it just in case nobody wants it. If you are interested then I'm sure you know what you want to hear and you can ask me.

The interior is great. The only problem is a little hole in the carpet where my heel rubbed from using the throttle and brake. A floor mat will cover it up perfectly. I would fix the car myself and I was halfway through, but I can't replace the motor at my house with just hand tools and a dirt yard.

I'm located about 30 mins away from boston.
