How long have they been out? I got rid of my '96 Camaro back in April of '07, and this is the first time I saw/heard of those intakes.sigpic

As for actual gains that is unknown. I did a full blown rebuild when I went this route. So as for how much was gained from intakes alone is still unknown

I have mine ported out as well, so it is not stock as well as a CNC'd tb.

Re: WTB Holden intake for L36
there are two different styles of holden intakes that fit our cars. Only issue for the newer fbody crowd would be the fact that the tb is cable driven instead of DBW. So you would need to fab something up there. Otherwise it goes in. You will need to make room for it however as it is quite a bit taller than our intakes. either cut your cowl or drop the kmember. I went with a custom tubular kmember that has a drop built into it as well as some kmember spacers for the clearance.
Difference between the two styles is the gasket between the two goes from orings to metal as the pcv groove is cut into it. Also EGR on the newer ones where my intakes don't have the provision. And the newer ones eliminated the bump going into the intake right after the tb. I ported mine down to get rid of the bump. Also hear the newer ones are slightly taller than my VS ones but I do not have any hard evidence on that.Last edited by 97rs4life; 12-01-2009, 12:21 PM.
