anyone got a db11a? Just bought pace's brackets and need a headunit. Maybe one that needs a rebuild?

Thanks man. I recently ran into some money and I am growing tired of the mods on my car. I found a headunit that has never been mounted for around $800. Does that sound resonalbe to you guys? I figured if I found a used one it would probably need a rebuild, so figure in 500 used, and then the 928 is like 325 + shiping. I will probably end up paying the same.

I was going to suggest in asking 928 if they have a used one lying around. $800 is reasonable. They usually go for over a thousand.

what do you mean, like the 928 suck? or that it is simple to rebuild it yourself?

simple enough to rebuild yourself. The tricky part is one of the bearings that sits down in the case, you have to weld something to it and then fashion a slide hammer of sorts and get it out that way.
