As the title says... The area around the lower ball-joints on mine have rusted pretty bad so I'm just trying to see if anyone has any laying around that they'd let go pretty cheap. I found some on eBay for about $50 a piece so I'd like to get them shipped for cheaper than that.
The F-bodies used different A-arms. Look on the inside of the drivers door for the correct code for your vehicle. I bent my passenger side lower arm on my Firebird and found one in a junkyard out of a camaro that had the same code. Not sure why GM used different ones but they did.

Could have something to do with it being a V6 over a V8, or a regular V6 over a Y87. Im not too sure myself, but I think that might have something to do with it.

So... there are four different part numbers listed for lower control arm for Camaro, one for FE2 and FE4, one for 1LE, one for FE7, and one for F41. When I typed the one for F41 (what I have) into gmpartsdirect.com it told me that the part had a new part #. The new part number matches the part number of the FE2 and FE4. And the part # listed for the FE7 didn't yield any results, and the part # listed for the 1LE came up different than the one for the FE2, FE4 and F41...
So what I gather is that as long as the control arm doesn't come off of a 1LE car, it should match my car... I'm just wondering what's different about the different control arms? aren't most 1LE parts interchangeable? J/C
