I have a 3.8 '99 Firebird. I went with racetronix and the LS1 pump. It looks the same and is working just fine. Used the trap door method found on these forums. Little trouble getting the ring-lock to come loose but a good deadblow hammer and piece of wood did the job. I still have the old stock pump and bucket if you want it. Well, the pump is going out but the bucket is fine. Im in the Nashville area, let me know what you want to do.

LS1 buckets have the regulator built in there. V6 and LT1 do not have the regulator.

Ive still got my 96' 3.8L bucket, but the sock is starting to tear on it. Im just curious why you dont just run it without the bucket.

The lower part of the bucket doesn't matter. I need the top hat, but am willing to take an entire assembly. Like I've been trying to explain. LS1 top hats have regulators, that will not work with my fuel system. I need a V6/LT1 style without a regulator.
