which is the water neck? if its that little piece with the bleeder screw in it I got one lieing around I could ship...

Yes it it the piece that goes over the thermostat. These things are ridiculously hard to find and I broke mine :(. If you have one please send me a price and your PP address. Thank you!

Let me make sure I still have her in the garage...where are you located? how's 10$ plus shipping? I could probably stuff it in those orange envelopes and ship it the fastest one possible.

Unbeknownst to me I either dropped or laid down the water neck in the box of scrap paper in a smaller box and did not realize it was there. When I noticed the part was in the fire it was too late and it crumbled into a half dozen pieces when I tried to save it.
I know I know. I should have been more careful but I never burned anything unintentionally in the years I have lived in the country.
The two worst parts about the situation is not the water neck, but the fact that these are now so hard to come by anywhere and in addition to that I spent 2 hours polishing this part for when I planned to reinstall it. That is two hours of work I will never see again.
I know it is not that entertaining but unfortunately for me it is the truth. :(
