Meltdown, You're not that far from me. There is a guy in Bristol PA that has tons of engines. He doesn't post the V6's on ebay because he doesn't think that they will sell.
Why a 3.4? If my engine went bad, I'd put a stout V8 in it's place.

yea i see that guys LT1's all the time. i asked him and he said he has no 3.4L. i didn't call him though, just asked him off his ebay e-mail. um, its an s-10 switch. i have a 2.8 and switch to a 3.4 is an easy 50 HP using stock parts. i already have a v8 s-10 too.

I did that swap before it became popular
                  83 blazer 4x4 5 speed,94 3.4 that had 3K on it
Its been about 8 yrs now and running fine.
Did go thru 2 new clutches(4WD,mud and teenagers)
then switched to dual friction centerforce with zero probs.I used all the 3.4 stuff,a/c compressor,PS pump, alt, exhaust manifolds, intake with SFI.

Get all the donor stuff to do the complete swap
                      its worth the extra effort.
We are doing one on neighbors 4 dr maserati. Have 91 F bird donor car.
