summit? do you know there website? I can't seem to find it on here so I might need to find it at summit. So if you can send me a link to summit that would be great. Thanks for replying to my post homie.
I saw those 2 parts, but those pipes look way too short. Do I need part WLK-53061 and WLK-54064 to make it connect from my muffler to my cat?
A golden auto said they would make me a 3" pipe for $120 out the door. But it is not mandrel bent and the guy said something else. But I hear that mandrel bent is better which is probably true right?
So if I get those 2 parts and get them to install it, it would cost me around $150-$160. So it is worth getting those 2 parts or having that muffler place make one for me?
Summit's website is http://www.summitracing.com
They're pretty much the biggest place out there to get performance stuff. They don't really have too much for us, though.
You'll need both parts. 1 is the pipe that goes over the axle to the muffler, the other is the one from the cat (well, after the S-Pipe) to the axle crossover pipe.
This one is much better than an exhaust shop would make if they can't mandrel bend. There's a bunch of people here who run it. I've used it for about 2-3 years with no problems.
98camaro3.8, I called summit and they told me that WLK-53061 and WLK-54064 will not fit my car (2001 V6 Camaro) and that they don't have any 3" pipes that will fit. Is this true or that guy doesnt know what he's talking about?
Can someone help me out please, I really want to make sure that those 2 parts will fit my car before I buy it. Thanks everyone.
They will fit. That person doesn't know what he's talking about. It says right on that page that it's for Camaros and Firebirds. They worked fine on my car, along with plenty of other people here who have them. ;)
Thanks 98Camaro3.8, I'm gonna order it from there. I also wanted to ask you what kind of exhaust system you have? What do you think about the Loudmouth compared to magnaflows? I am sort of leaning toward of getting a loudmouth cause people that have it say it rumbles louder and has a deeper sound to it. Do you agree?
Okay guys I just installed a Loudmouth which I traded with my friend that has a 2000 SS Camaro. The muffler shop couldn't make him mandrel bent pipes so he kept his 3" and I kept my 2.5". The resonator wouldn't fit my car since my pipes are 2.5".
My car is super mean but is really loud. I want to install a 18" bullet which will probably replace the pipe in the middle right? So if I do that, wont I only need to purchase one of the pipes from summit? If so which one would I need to get WLK-53061 or WLK-54064? Or will I still need to buy both of them?
