Looking to buy wheel bearings for a 1995 3.4 firebird. My front right one is done and it wasnt pleasent when it went bad on the freeway.. Was scary as hell.. But my mechanic i think is trying to rip me off saying its 300+ dollars for new ones so if anyone has them or parting out a car I'd be willing to buy!!!!!!

yea you would have to buy the whole assembly from a parts store and they charge an arm and a leg for those things.Comment

Backing up the earlier responses - our front bearings are not replaceable, you must buy with the hub as a unit.
Some of the road racing guys cornering on 315-335 width race rubber are going through a set of these every few races. Unfortunately no one yet has designed or is selling a kit that allows bearing replacement.Drivetrain Moderator - "There are no stupid questions, only stupid people!"

I know that's kinda what i was looking for so i could avoid the 140$ per bearing with hub its the only way they sell them So I decieded to just take the two from rocket-doc for 80.00$ great deal and saves me a ton and i mean TON of money .. but replacing them every couple of races that is a bit ridiculous.
