  • CAI/LID for 98

I need any brand of a CAI and LID for my 3.8 98 Firebird. Would like relativly cheap price(AKA why I am buying used), as long as they do not have any defects. Thanks.

Whisper Lid and Free Ram Air mod is fine. If you really want a CAI kit to go along with it, look at FTRA or SLP CAI (#21033).

ive been trying to do the Home Depot mod while keeping the stock airbox and using something besides dryer ducting (cause it sucks) and im not having any luck. But you can get a whisper lid and do dryer ducting from their to the throttle body

but we have 98's which means the throttle body is angled down and to the left which makes this whole thing a headache.

ok i have the lid and a CAI for my 98, i bought the lid used off here and they said it was for a 98 but the piece from the lid to the TB didnt fit, i didnt want to use dryer ducting but i went to autozone and got some black 4 1/8 inch (ithink) intake hose and it works fine along with some clamps and it doesnt look bad either!
