I need some help picking out the right parts i need for my 02 firebird. I want it to have alot more H.P. then 200 "stock". But I don't want to have all the sensors going off and ses lights in my face. What I want to do is get a new cam,cat back system, and a few other things. i already have the k&n oil filter and air filter 180 thermo. I know not alot of mods yet but money is tight. I'm goin to be storing my car this winter and I wanted to work on it and get it ready for the summer. So what I wanted to know is what is the best cam for my car? Also if I change the cam, what else needs to be changed when I install the new cam? Will I need lifters, rockers,..ect.? I never really got into the cam part of a motor so I really don't know or understand how to figure out what the best cam aplacation would be for my car. I'm looking at going with a magnaflow catback system for my Exhaust. I want to put a 3" on but I have heared that a 3" hits because it's to big and will cause a rattle under the car. Is this true? If someone can help me out, this is what I want.
