there isnt one. you options are pretty limited with the 3.4 i think fast chips is the only way to go.

        dunno bad driver?

where did you get that info from anyways?

anyways.. its pretty hard to find anyone that is selling anything like a hypertech. IMO your better of going through fastchips

I think the 93's got slower times because they had different ratio's in the tranny as well as the rear. GM revised them for '94 and it seems like times improved.

they did have 2 different 6speeds. the M28 had 2.73s and the M29 had 3.23s. so even if the formula came with the M28 with 2.73s it would run the same times i do. gm didnt revise anything about the tranny. the problem was that borg warner didnt have a 6 speed ready for the lt1 so gm bought trannys from chrysler.

that 14.7 you posted about is either a misprint or there is a bad driver involved. i garuantee that if you found the trap speed for that car it would be somewhere around 97-100mph to prove what im saying. i know exactly where you got that information from and not all of that list they have there is right.

93 speed density lt1s are usually the fastest and strongest in stock form of all lt1s.

i know a guy with a 93 formula M6 and he ran his when it was stock to a 14.0-14.4 @ 97-99 pretty consistent.

i also know what im talking about.

by the way the M29 had a simalar gear setup to the c5 z06s

I was going by information on f-body.org about the trans gears and the rear end gears.
                    http://www.f-body.org/tech/4th_gen.htm

And here's where I looked up times.

I think you're right though, even different gear ratios shouldn't account for that much time difference.

It's probably data gathered from various magazine test articles, and each magazine's test is going to have widely varied results.
