I just bought a beautiful 2002 pewter Camaro and need to buy a second set of rims so I can have a set dedicated for winter tires (for the odd time I'll actually need to drive in snow... Unpredictable weather here...).
I don't care what style, as long as they aren't steelies.
I'd take 16" or 17", looking to spend around $300.
I might be buying some new rims and getting rid of my old ones. They are 16's. Where do you live I could prolly do $300 shipped or so if you are interested. I could get pics if you want. They are in really nice condition never seen snow or salt.
Wow! Didn't think I'd get quite that response that quickly ;) Thanks everbody, I appreciate it.
99Camaro- I'll be swapping tires off anyways, so tire wear isn't an issue.
CamaroMalley- $300 Shipped sounds good. I'm in Calgary, Alberta. Send me an email and we'll talk more.
blldogg - Can you send me his email? I'd be interested to see if he'd be willing to ship all the way up here as well.
Shirl - I'll get some pics taken one of these days - next time I get it washed I'll break out the camera and post something here. It's a typical, bone stock, pewter v6 w/t-tops- pretty common I think.
You know, I've been watching these boards for a couple of years anticipating that I'd *eventually* buy a v6 f-bod. I ended up buying my dad's Camaro- a corporately leased car. I convinced him to get a camaro way back when I was in high school about 7 years ago, and it took a few years before he bought into the idea. But, from then until last week I was patiently awaiting the day I'd be able to afford to take it off of his hands. Now that day has come and I couldn't be happier!
As of Wednesday it had 26000km on it, having been in service since Jan/02. Yeah, there's probably some carbon build up, but I'll burn it off on the highway in no time. Anyways, I'm really enjoying the car so far- can't believe I've been missing out on driving like this for so long ;)
