WTB 3.8l engine and 4l60e tranny

After debating for a while about selling my car...Ive decided against it.

Instead, I'm going to attempt a turbo build. I'm located close to Richmond, Va. but I don't mind driving out of state to pick up/meet halfway.

Im looking for a 3.8l engine and 4l60e transmission that will fit in a 99 firebird.

What I'm planning on doing is building both the engine and transmission to support the turbo.

i have a 2000 4L60E M30 TRANSMISSION that was removed from a TRANS AM with 20k mi.i bought this from a salvage yard for $850.00, have since decided not to complete my project. i live in CHAS. WEST VIRGINIA, i might be interested in driving half the way. thanx g.bruer@worldnet.att.net

I'm not sure if the input shaft/converter bolt pattern will fit the v6. bell housings should swap though

My entire car, turbo and all is up for sale.. it's a 99 as well. Check it out here. I've also got some other turbo parts for sale here as well. Oh, and I'm in Richmond too.

I've got a 4l60E from my 98 firebird. It had 63k on it. Worked great when removed 250.00 + shipping

I have a complete 3800/4L60E from a 97 camaro for sale. $500 for the pair they are still bolted together. I am located in Fort Wayne, IN and could possibly drive a little if you dont want to drive the whole way. If you are interested let me know, thanks!

ill give you $250 for just the motor! but youll have to wait for me to get another paycheck or 2 to come get it. im in central illinois, near peoria. i want a 3800 motor to build up so bad!!!:naughty:

thats a really good buy...but i live in VA. I actually just bought one from highhp...

im going to hold off on the engine for now....
