I had asked about this a while ago, and ran into some other problems ( not involving the car ). I lost the e-mail addresses to the two guys who had some. I was wondering if those two guys still had some, and if they'd still sell them after a long forever wait.

1 question though, anyone who has one, does it have the wheel hub bearing? All I need to replace is just the wheel hub bearing, but I was gonna get a lower mileage shaft since I have to pull the old one anyway. ( i'm at 194k miles btw. )

I've got two used ones for sale right now over in this thread:
      http://forum.camarov6.com/showthread.php?t=78195
Price is $50 each, or $80 for both.... PLUS shipping. One of them has only 1500 miles or so on it, the other about 60K miles. I could prolly throw in the bearings too. Maybe even the seals too, but I dunno what kind of shape they'll be in once I get them out. Leave me a message over there, or send me an email or IM.

Sounds good to me. I'll check the axels, bearings, and seals Thursday night or Friday afternoon. I'll post up and let ya know. Just IM me or email me, or post over in my for sale thread.

no bearings only low miles on the shaft if i where you i would put new bearings in used arent worth the time or trouble if they go out in a few months more trouble than what they where worth just my 2 cents on the used bearing part

is it the rearend w/o a posi? I either have 3.23 or 3.42 gears, never ripped it open to look or anything, and the tag on my pumpkin is gone. :(

You can check the codes on your driver side door sticker to find out what gears you have, and if it's an open diff or LSD. I can't remember which code is for what, but it's archived somewhere on this board.

I'm also kinda interested in the whole rear end that Highhp has for sale. Details man. I need a new diff, and dad needs the backing plates for his car. So yeah, post up some more details.

It has 3.08's that's all I know, I took it out along with everything else for by drag car build.

I'm good. lol. Comes down to it, I may buy it just for the axle shafts, and just to have an extra rear end laying around. =)

Hey Moses. I pulled the axle shafts today. I'm still having a little trouble getting the seals out though. I don't want to damage them if I can avoid it. You still want the bearings right? I'll take a couple pics of the axles in a few minutes and post them up. The outer hub portion of the axle shafts have surface rust on them, but the shafts themselves are still shiney. Do you want the bearings more than the seals? Cause I may have to destroy the seals to ge the bearings out.

the bearings are pressed onto the axle shaft. I was just hoping to find one with a good bearing ( good enough to last a little bit ), because my tire looks like it's about to fall off while it moves. so I parked the car.

Edit: I bent the plate on the wheel bearing, and where the axle shaft and wheel bearing meet that's where my shaft bent a little. the housing didn't bend though! =o
