thanks, again, but like I said...bought a new GM crate motor for $2100...yeah, three times the cost of a salvage engine but it's worth the peace of mind and 100,000 miles of trouble free driving....RP

You can use a short block from a frontdrive. They're the same, just have to change mounts, oilfilter adapter, and accessories.
