WTB: bright purple metallic f-body

my girlfriend wants to sell her cavalier ('03 87K 6500 obo) to get an f body;
96-98 firebird or 98 camaro, has to be 3.8 would prefer t-tops and 5 speed

or a 92 purple haze camaro
or a 99-02 black sapphire (nbm) firebird

IMHO the fbody stock purples were the wrong shade. Ok for a girl tho. I like dark ultraviolet purple thats more on the blue side of the spectrum.

Bright Purple Metallic was a KILLER color. My friend had a 97' RS in that color and it was beautiful. Be sure to get some chrome wheels on it. ;) The other purple-ish pink color was not a good color though, imo. (hope no one on here has that color). ;)

I have a Purple 95, I am close to you in Plainfield. Only thing is that it has a 3.4 not a 3.8 in it. Over the winter someone slid into my wife and she popped the car in front of her, so the bumpers have a bit of spidering in them. Has T-tops, and is atx. New brakes, rebuilt calipers and new rotors about 3K ago.

Let me know if you want pics, selling cheap... if not selling I may just paint it up and mod it for me :)

Sorry about that, it is a Firebird. I have it paid off and clear but think that I lost the title... but it is registered to me. Has anyone ever applied to get a new title mailed to you from Illinois?

Yes, Just about 15-20 minutes further north if taking the city streets, about 5+ more up 55.
About the price I really am in teh dark, I need to get the wife a baby mobile, the engine was replace in 2001 by a shop up in OakBrook, I have the information somewhere on it, I will get some pictures of the car later, I just started work and will not get home until about 1am central tonight/tomorrow morning.
