    Re: antenna

You can purchase an antenna at autozone or advance for around 20-30 bucks... even the elecrtic ones are cheap and easy to install. Cost me about 25 bucks and 30 minutes.

        ordera shorty from ebay

        8 inch http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Camar...QQcmdZViewItem

        14 inch http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Camar...QQcmdZViewItem

I ordered an 8 inch for my Mustang and love how it looks but I live about 30 miles from where I work in Louisville In my town, next county over, I don't have reception to any stations until I get on interstate. So basicly I'm sayin that if I bought over I'd probably go with 14 inch

            Re: antenna

hey. i had an idea a while back, and wondered if it would work. say i had some solid copper. i cut my antenna at about 8 inches, wrap the copper around the antenna, and soder (however you spell it) the two together. making sure that the only parts of the wire that touch is the soldered part. is that good or bad.

                Re: antenna

i went to pep boys and kregan, i baght and antenna, but the issue is, i need to replace the part the antenna screws on to. looks like the previous antenna was broken off or sawed off at that base, so i cant take off that old lil piece.

                  Re: antenna

I'm lost at what part you need? When i bought my antenna from autozone it came with everything... I had plenty of pieces left over afterwards. And I love my power antenna... down when the radio is off and up when its on. That simple. At car shows or just parked, the antenna is down and only up when driving. I don't understand why so many people like shorty antennas and such.
