no, I have hp tuners....I need a 97 A4 that didnt belong to a mail order tune...it has to have 97 Operating system and 97 vin....so if its a stock 97 pcm its perfect.
My pcmforless one wont work for me...they changed it over to my 96 vin and OS...

I've gotten a pcmforless pcm before as a back up and I've never heard of them changing a 97' to a 96 OS , if that was the case hptuners would be able to flash 96's. Because I think PCMforless uses HPtuners to reflash the 97' pcms. They have the same lic. I dunno...all I know is it doesnt work for me, and apparently others have had a similar problem....it's been headache after headache trying to tune my car with hp tuners...I picked up a spare 3.8 PCM awhile back that ended up being from a grand prix...was at the speed shop, went to have it tuned...I ended up having to pay the shop for used credits and didnt have a usuable tune for my car cause the gp one didnt work...I just want a stock 97 pcm now untouched or one that is compatible with hptuners FOR SURE so I can avoid anymore headaches...
