I have never had a keyless entry remote for my car and dont even know if the system works. A friend of mine emailed me some directions on how to program one. I got a remote with the car but it is not the correct one for it i think it might be broke. Let me know what you got. Thanks

Re: WTB Keyless entry remote 97
No my car does not have an aftermarket alarm. The guy i bought if from got a used remote from somewhere and did not know how to program it so he just gave it to me. On the back it says:
GM16207901-5
CANADA:218101368
MODEL:AB01502T
I do not know if this is a remote for a convertable or car with a hatch. All of the paint is gone off the buttons. If they work the same then i dont care but if not then i need the one to open the trunk. Thanks

Re: WTB Keyless entry remote 97
Nope, doesn't look like the right numbers. I have an old remote that works and has the four buttons, but only the lock and trunk button have any ink left on them. Trunk is mostly there, lock is hardly there, the rest are blank. I'll give it to you for like 2 bucks plus shipping if you want it.

Re: WTB Keyless entry remote 97
I think that there are two differant remotes for these cars. There is one for the cars with a hatch and one for the cars with a trunk. I will let you know i might have a lead for one. If it falls through then i will let you know. What year is the remote from. Thanks.
