With the passing of my Grandfather I will likely be taking in an influx of tools come spring...I am already at capacity with my elcheapo home depot started tool box that is passed its capacity. As a result and rather than buying a heavy duty tool chest, I am thinking of building a giant tool chest come spring. I've priced out some heavy duty castors and just need to come up with a bit of a design and specs and then I can start gathering materials.

I want to see photos of people's tool boxes/chests and work benches/carts...regardless of whether they were built or bought....That should help in ideas for my project!

I really like the Harbor Freight tool boxes, I've got a couple of them and they are about the same quality as any other tool chest I've bought.

Do you have a picture of your setup? how much did you pay for them?

I've got too much stuff packed in front of them to get a picture until I start moving over to the new shop.

I've bought two of these 44" Cabinets $399:

Then I bought the upper & lower chest from Rural King $399 + $799:

It's the cost that still gets me... I think I am going to end up having to build a setup
