Re: Look who I saw at the dragway today (56k; Run)
I also took a crappy video with my phone of him breaking into the 12's just beating a mustang by a couple tenths. I'll see if I can get that up tomorrow.
Re: Look who I saw at the dragway today (56k; Run)
No tripod. I took over 1k pics and over half are junk, lol. They all came out fine when the light was still out but when it got darker the camera would try to compensate for the lack of light and keep the shutter open longer. Of course I figured out how to override that with manual settings but right when I figured out how to do that my camera died.
I didn't race, my firbird has a bad block (trying to sell it) and my LeMans is a v6 piece of crap that bogs down when I step on the gas, lol.
Heres a better one I took when I was down in FL on vacation.
When that truck (stacks) took off it was soooo slow and had the huge diesel cloud. After like 3-4 seconds it would all of a sudden take off super fast. Why did it do that. None of the other diesels were that slow taking off.
Re: Look who I saw at the dragway today (56k; Run)
Bigggg turbo, takes longer to spool.
He should have tried to spool his turbo better before he took off, but its hard to keep it from moving when your pushing that much boost and timing it with the tree is a pain in the ***...
with pulling trucks they get as much time to spool as they need, and once its up there the truck takes off like a bat outa hell.
