It's a useless thread and I am bored in my CHU listening to Megadeth-Trust, and I simply love the song. I was curious who metalheads here thought was better, Megadeth or Metallica? Metallica is often considered the band to establish most metal these days, but I think Megadeth is also a really good band, perhaps better, but they've always been considered kinda arch-rivals. So who would you pick and why?

i am a long time MEGADETH fan! i did a few gigs for them back when i was doing the soundman/rhodie thing & they are a bunch of very cool guys-check out the newest two albums-"united amominations" & "the system has failed" -dave's still rockin but the message has changed-i'll let everyone form their own opinion-but to me it's his best work in years!Comment

I really like megadeth a lot, and totally disagree with the people that think they're a washed up metallica wannabe. And yes heavychevy, I have both them albums on my iPod.
