I'll be flying to S. Dakota this Tuesday and be staying at Rapid City for 2 days. I'll be renting a car and I'll check out Mt. Rushmore. Then I have to drive to Wyoming. Not sure yet as to where exactly in Wyoming, but I do plan on swinging around Yellow Stone National.
Is there any other cool places to visit in S. Dakota and Wyoming? Since I'm there for like 6 days I might as well see as many places as I can.
I used to have a theory that South Dakota did not really exist.
I worked at Walt Disney World at the time. I'd meet people from almost every state and innumerable countries every day - but never South Dakota. Therefore, the conclusion was that South Dakota was a myth. The "South Dakota does not exist" thng became a running joke in our area.
Anyway, one day I finally met a person who said they were from South Dakota. We made a big deal about it. Cast members (employees) from all over our area came over to greet the confused family and shake their hands.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.
2008 Saturn Sky Red Line - Midnight Blue Pewter Mafia - 2000 Firebird - SOLD CENTRAL FLORIDA KNIGHTS!!!!!!! FLORIDA STATE SEMINOLES!!!!!!!

Well So. Dakota does have the least population in USA. I think only 480,000 people live there. LOL...there's more people in LA than there.
Really, why would it be a hell of a drive. I'm expecting a 6-7 hour drive there.
What's the best Freeway or highway to take?
I guess it's not as bad as I thought (just checked it on yahoo maps). If you take US 16 over through Buffalo and over to Cody that way its a pretty drive. And you'd drive right through my hometown. LOL. I think highway 14 is probably also a pretty drive, but have never actually made the whole drive myself.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm going to take.
Cool...I'm glad you told me it's a pretty drive. That's what I want. :)
Yeah, well, at least the drive from Buffalo to Ten Sleep over Powder River Pass and down through Ten Sleep Canyon is pretty. Its a little dull on either side of the mountain for a ways until you get closer to Cody, but badlands are pretty in their own way.
Ten Sleep is my hometown BTW. Well...I live 18 miles south of town, but still. Oh and Don't blink or you'll miss it. LOL.

I’m new. I actually don’t own a Camaro or firebird. I do have a 2000 Camaro 3.8 fly by throttle and 4l60e. This is installed in a 1980 Triumph TR7...
