So im heading over to pic my friend up from a party and doing around 130-135mph:banana:. and climing. my Street radial that i just paid 350 for:tdown:, on the right rear SHREDS and splits in half:eek:. It tears my wheel well to S**T:mad: and damages my rear bumber. only reason i didnt lose it is because the rear end is fulltime posi. So the rapid decelaration of the right rear tire didnt pull my car to the right, so thank god for posi right.
btw. does anyone live near toledo ohio with hp tuners.?
and i was taking the car on a top out run (on the way to pic my friend up). the guy who owned it before me had done stuff to the computer. but i dont know what. i mean. that was apparent after i went past 120. it didnt stop. so im guessing it the govner was takin off. but its odd because when i sit still. i cant rev it past 4. =S so i dont know why that is.
I was doing 130 in a v6 camaro because it can? that question didnt make sense to me. but yea. I was hoping i could get in touch with someone who has an HPT and help me tune my car.

Wow $350 a tire, for a BFG G-Force 275/40/17ZR is only $135 , I do top gear runs on the highway at 1-2am in the morning where no traffic is around. I have hit 137 to 145 when I had my M5 with 3.42's and Powerdyne. N/A with my A4 and 3.73's I have gone about 122-123mph to make sure it stays in 3rd gear all the way through, so if I take it to the track it won't be shifting out into OD, 4th. And I check over my scanned runs for KR and fuel and lifts. You can't rev past 4000 because it has a cutoff for RPMS in P and N you really don't want to rev that high in P and N because there is no need. Mine is set at 3500 I think.

So whats the deal with the tire? Did you contact the person/place it was purchased? Check the tire out bef nore you contact them and make sure it wasnt vandalism, dry rott or....
350$ was the subtotal of both the tires. it was like 346 and some change. Aside from almost CRAPPING my pants. everything is alright. and now it looks wack as hell. with the donut on there. haha.
yeah. im really wanting to tune it the way i want it. i just dont wanna buy an hp tuners yet.
tires were z rated. and a couple days ago. i had noticed some wabbling from the tire that blew. almost like the band had started breaking. but yea. it does have a warrenty. and im getting it replaced on tuesday.
